What is a Turnover?

A turnover is basically an individual pie. Like mini apple pies similar to a hand pie. Turnovers are traditionally puff pastry with a sweet or savory filling.

Instead of using a sheet of puff pastry, I made this apple turnover recipe even easier and fail proof by using a can of crescent rolls. This is a great shortcut!

There is barely any prep work for this recipe other than slicing the apples. You just assemble and bake! It truly is an easy apple dessert recipe everyone will love!
